We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from the BounceOT team!
Our founder and director, Callum MacKinnon, has recently taken on a new role as an Associate Occupational Therapist at The Edinburgh Practice – a leading multidisciplinary mental health and neurodevelopmental service based in the heart of Edinburgh.

In this new role, Callum will be working with individuals across the lifespan, offering specialist occupational therapy that is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, and person-centred. You can read more about his role here.

Unlike his work at BounceOT, this clinical role provides a unique opportunity to focus deeply on specialist practice – allowing Callum to grow his clinical expertise while stepping back from day-to-day operational responsibilities. This shift creates space for the BounceOT team to flourish, with staff stepping confidently into their roles and helping to shape a strong, sustainable organisational structure.
This evolution is a key part of BounceOT’s long-term vision: to offer a clear and cohesive service model that spans universal, targeted, and – in the near future – specialist levels of occupational therapy support. By investing in both clinical development and organisational growth, we’re laying the foundation for a more impactful and resilient service.
We’re excited about what’s ahead – for Callum, for the BounceOT team, and for the communities we serve. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to grow, connect, and bounce forward together!
