Summary

Location: Stirling (Hybrid)

Job Type: Part-time (hours per month TBC – flexible working available to suit your schedule)
Contract: Self-employed or employed basis, fixed term for 6 months, with review based on business needs
Pay: TBC depending on experience and employment basis

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our team at BounceOT. In this role, you will help manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to excellence in both service and operations.

This role is primarily focused on supporting our social enterprise, BounceOT Stirling CIC, but will also involve similar duties for our new company, BounceOT Group Ltd.

Inclusive Fun Therapeutic Play

Our mission is to create a fun, inclusive, and safe environment where children and adults with disabilities can engage in purposeful play with their families, fostering meaningful moments together. 

Originally founded by Callum MacKinnon (Specialist Occupational Therapist) in 2017, Bounce OT Stirling CIC is a multi-award-winning Social Enterprise in Scotland (Community Interest Company - CIC) that operates 7 days per week across Scotland’s Central Belt.

BounceOT Group Ltd was formed in 2025 to help facilitate plans to socially replicate across the UK.

Our skilled and compassionate staff offer specialist support to individuals striving to achieve personalised therapeutic goals, while also providing unpaid carers with opportunities for brief respite.

We are dedicated to inclusivity, welcoming individuals of all abilities, whether they have a diagnosed disability or are already accessing other local disability support services.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently
  • Utilise accounting software such as Xero
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Support month-end and year-end financial reporting
  • Contribute to the development of our Annual Social Impact Reports by providing financial insights and summaries
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries

  • Experience in a similar finance or bookkeeping role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to our social mission

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • Language: English (required)
